TRUST TechWorks

About

A works is where things get made and kept running.

We took the name seriously. TRUST TechWorks exists to make technology function — not to sell you more of it.

Why we changed

We started in 2018 as TRUST Technical Consultants, doing identity, endpoint management and digital presence work for businesses around Louisville. Good work, and we still do most of it. But over seven years the same pattern kept showing up on every site we walked into.

The problem was almost never that the client had too little technology. It was that they had plenty, bought in good faith, in layers, from different vendors, over a decade — and no two pieces of it had ever been introduced. Cameras that recorded to a box nobody had the password for. A door system on its own network. Three overlapping subscriptions doing one job.

Meanwhile the industry kept accelerating. Every vendor shipping features faster than any normal business could evaluate them, let alone deploy them. Somewhere in the last twenty-five years the pace of what gets sold outran the pace at which people can absorb it, and the gap has been widening ever since.

So we changed what we lead with. The new work starts from your installed base and moves outward. We find what you have, make it work together, put in only what is genuinely missing, and then stay on to keep it running.

How we're different in practice

We are not a reseller in disguise. Our first deliverable is an inventory, and it frequently concludes that you should buy nothing. We would rather be the firm you call for fifteen years than the one that sold you a large project once.

We read your invoices. Licence tiers drift upward, renewals auto-bill at rates nobody agreed to, and vendors add lines quietly. Catching that is part of the service, not an extra.

We document for your staff, not for us. If the only person who understands the system is the person who installed it, we have built you a dependency rather than a solution.

We work across the whole site. Cameras, doors, network, phones, endpoints, the platforms the business runs on. The faults that matter most tend to live in the seams between those, and a specialist in any one of them will not find them.

The team

Small, senior, and on site.

You get the people who did the assessment doing the installation, and the same people answering when you call two years later. No tiered handoffs, no account manager between you and the person holding the screwdriver.
